Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wraps are a bold and satisfying meal made with crunchy chicken tenders tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, wrapped in a soft tortilla with cool ranch or blue cheese dressing, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders or boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Oil, for frying
  • 1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing

Instructions

  1. Soak chicken strips in buttermilk for 15–30 minutes to tenderize.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken strip in the flour mixture, pressing to coat well.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken strips for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Toss fried chicken in buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  7. Assemble wraps by layering lettuce, tomato, cheese, buffalo chicken, and a drizzle of dressing in the center of each tortilla.
  8. Fold in the sides and roll up tightly. Slice in half and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, bake or air-fry the chicken instead of deep-frying.
  • Use store-bought crispy chicken tenders to save time.
  • Adjust buffalo sauce to control spice level.
  • Wraps can be made ahead and stored in foil for grab-and-go meals.
