1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoonolive oil
½ teaspoongarlic powder
½ teaspoonpaprika (smoked or regular)
½ teaspoonsalt
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
¼ teaspooncayenne pepper (optional for spice)
Optional Seasoning Variations:
Ranch: Add ½ teaspoon dried dill & onion powder.
BBQ: Add ½ teaspoon smoked paprika & a pinch of brown sugar.
Lemon Pepper: Add ½ teaspoon lemon zest & black pepper.
Instructions
Preheat & Prep:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Drain and rinse chickpeas, then pat them completely dry with a paper towel (moisture prevents crispiness).
Season the Chickpeas:
Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Roast:
Bake for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Cool & Serve:
Let the chickpeas cool for 5 minutes (they crisp up more as they cool).

Notes
For Extra Crispiness: Roast at 375°F for 10 minutes, then increase to 400°F for another 15-20 minutes.
