Crock Pot Creamy Ranch Chicken is an easy, comforting slow cooker meal made with tender chicken breasts simmered in a creamy ranch sauce — perfect served over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a greased Crock Pot.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and chicken broth until mostly smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts, covering them completely.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Shred the chicken in the Crock Pot and stir to coat with the creamy sauce.
  6. Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier texture.
  • Add frozen peas or cooked bacon at the end for extra flavor and texture.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
