Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 15 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed
  • 10 gummy worms
  • 6 small plastic cups or dessert cups

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined and smooth.
  3. Spoon a layer of crushed cookies into the bottom of each cup.
  4. Add a layer of the pudding mixture, followed by more crushed cookies.
  5. Repeat layers as desired, finishing with a generous layer of crushed cookies on top.
  6. Insert gummy worms into the top layer to resemble worms in dirt.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Crush cookies in a food processor or by placing them in a ziplock bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  • Use clear cups to show the fun layered effect.
