Easy Air Fryer 5 Cheese Lasagna Fritta is a crispy, cheesy appetizer or snack made by air-frying lasagna rolls filled with a rich five-cheese blend.

  • 8 cooked lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded Romano cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten (for breading)
  • Olive oil spray
  • Marinara sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, provolone, Romano, and 1 egg until well combined.
  2. Lay out cooked lasagna noodles and spread cheese mixture evenly over each.
  3. Roll up each noodle tightly and cut each roll in half.
  4. Dredge each roll in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Lightly spray the fritta rolls with olive oil spray and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Use freshly shredded cheeses for better melting and flavor.
  • Freeze unbreaded rolls for future use—bread and air fry directly from frozen when needed.
