Easy baked cauliflower is a simple and healthy side dish featuring cauliflower florets tossed in olive oil and seasonings, then roasted until golden and tender. Great for any meal or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: chopped parsley or lemon juice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and tender.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan and garnish with parsley or a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2–3 minutes of baking.
  • Try different spices like curry powder, cumin, or chili flakes for variety.
  • Leftovers can be added to salads, wraps, or grain bowls.
