This Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip is a creamy, spicy, and cheesy appetizer that’s perfect for game day, parties, or any gathering. Packed with shredded chicken, tangy buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and melted cheese, it’s a crowd-pleasing favorite served with chips, crackers, or veggies.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust for spice level)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions, crumbled blue cheese

For Serving:

  • Tortilla chips, crackers, celery sticks, or carrot sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, mix the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, ranch or blue cheese dressing, and buffalo sauce until well combined.
  3. Add the Cheese:
    • Fold in 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  4. Assemble the Dip:
    • Spread the mixture into a 9-inch baking dish or an oven-safe skillet.
    • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheeses evenly on top.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with green onions or crumbled blue cheese, if desired.
    • Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies for dipping.

  • For a stovetop version, combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat until hot and melted.
