  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
  5. Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
