1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
