Easy Crock Pot Bread is a simple, no-knead homemade bread recipe made right in your slow cooker. It results in a soft, fluffy interior with a golden crust, perfect for beginners.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup warm water (about 110°F)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Shape dough into a ball and place on parchment paper.
  5. Place parchment and dough into a 4–6 quart Crock Pot. Cover with lid.
  6. Cook on high for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the bread is set and bottom is golden brown.
  7. Optional: For a crispier crust, transfer bread to a baking sheet and broil in the oven for 2–3 minutes.
  8. Let cool before slicing and serving.
