- 2 cups brewed black coffee (hot)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin powder
- 2 tablespoons water (for blooming gelatin)
- Whipped cream or sweetened condensed milk (for serving)
- In a small bowl, combine gelatin powder and 2 tablespoons of water. Let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, brew 2 cups of hot black coffee and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
- Add the bloomed gelatin into the hot coffee and stir well until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into serving cups or a shallow dish.
- Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
- Cut into cubes if using a dish, or serve as is in cups.
- Top with whipped cream or drizzle with sweetened condensed milk before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to taste.
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of regular brewed coffee.
- Vegetarian-friendly if using plant-based gelatin alternatives.
