These Meatball Sub Bites are a fun twist on the classic meatball sub. Made with crescent roll dough, marinara sauce, and melty mozzarella, they’re quick, easy, and totally delicious!

Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough (or biscuit dough)
12frozen or homemade meatballs, fully cooked
½ cupmarinara sauce
½ cupshredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoonItalian seasoning
1 tablespoonbutter, melted
½ teaspoongarlic powder
Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
Roll out crescent dough and cut into 12 equal squares.
Step 2: Assemble the Meatball Bites
Press a dough square into each muffin cup.
Spoon ½ teaspoon marinara sauce into each.
Place one meatball on top.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
Step 3: Bake & Serve
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Brush butter mixture over the tops of the dough.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
Notes
Shortcut: Use store-bought frozen meatballs to save time.
Make Ahead: Assemble and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
Dipping Idea: Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side!
