These Easy Sticky Buns are soft, gooey, and loaded with a buttery caramel topping and crunchy pecans. Made with store-bought dough for convenience, they’re perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet treat!

For the Sticky Caramel Topping:

  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup (150 g) brown sugar
  • ¼ cup (80 ml) honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)

For the Buns:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or crescent roll dough)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ¼ cup (50 g) brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a muffin tin for individual buns.

2️⃣ Make the Sticky Topping

  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, honey (or maple syrup), and cinnamon.
  • Pour the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish and sprinkle with pecans.

3️⃣ Prepare the Dough

  • Separate the biscuit dough and brush each piece with melted butter.
  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the dough.
  • Roll or slightly flatten each piece and place on top of the caramel mixture.

4️⃣ Bake Until Golden

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and puffed.

5️⃣ Flip & Serve

  • Let cool for 5 minutes, then carefully invert onto a serving plate.
  • Serve warm and enjoy the sticky, gooey goodness!
