Instructions
Step 1: Whip the Cream
In a large bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
Step 2: Make the Mascarpone Mixture
In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, espresso, and coffee liqueur (if using) until smooth.
Step 3: Fold & Combine
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
Step 4: Serve & Garnish
Spoon or pipe the mousse into serving glasses.
Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with ladyfingers, chocolate shavings, or extra coffee-soaked ladyfinger pieces.
Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor!
Notes
No mascarpone? Substitute with cream cheese, but mascarpone gives it the authentic tiramisu taste.
