This Tiramisu Mousse is a no-bake, airy, and decadent dessert inspired by classic tiramisu. It combines mascarpone, espresso, and a hint of cocoa in a silky mousse—ready in minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • ½ cup mascarpone cheese, softened
  • â…“ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional, like Kahlúa)
  • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder, for dusting
  • Ladyfingers or chocolate shavings, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Whip the Cream

  1. In a large bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.

Step 2: Make the Mascarpone Mixture

  1. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, espresso, and coffee liqueur (if using) until smooth.

Step 3: Fold & Combine

  1. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.

Step 4: Serve & Garnish

  1. Spoon or pipe the mousse into serving glasses.
  2. Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with ladyfingers, chocolate shavings, or extra coffee-soaked ladyfinger pieces.
  3. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor!

 


Notes

  • No mascarpone? Substitute with cream cheese, but mascarpone gives it the authentic tiramisu taste.
  • Make it ahead: This mousse can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Boozy version: Add extra coffee liqueur for a richer, more traditional tiramisu flavor!
