This Edible M&M Cookie Dough Dip is creamy, sweet, and packed with mini chocolate chips and colorful M&M candies. It tastes just like cookie dough – but it’s safe to eat raw and made for dipping! Pair it with graham crackers, pretzels, or fresh fruit for the ultimate sweet snack.
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated – see notes)
¼ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons milk (more as needed)
½ cup mini chocolate chips
½ cup mini M&Ms (plus more for topping)
Heat-treat the flour: Spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to kill any bacteria. Let cool completely. (You can also microwave it in a bowl for 1–2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.)
Make the base: In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and milk: Mix in the vanilla extract and milk until smooth.
Add dry ingredients: Stir in the cooled, heat-treated flour and salt until fully combined. Add a little more milk if the texture is too thick.
Mix in the goodies: Fold in mini chocolate chips and M&Ms.
Chill & serve: Transfer to a serving bowl and top with extra M&Ms if desired. Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers, or apple slices.
Heat-treating the flour is important for food safety since this is a no-bake recipe.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Let it sit at room temp for a few minutes before serving so it softens.
