1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients over medium heat. Stir well to blend.
Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or additional Fireball if desired.
Let cool slightly before using, or transfer to a jar and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Use as a glaze during the last few minutes of grilling to prevent burning.
Store in the fridge for up to 1 week in an airtight container.
For a smoother texture, blend the sauce before cooling.
