A creamy, tangy, and slightly spicy fish taco sauce that perfectly complements crispy or grilled fish. Quick to mix and full of flavor, it’s the ideal topping for tacos and more.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and lime juice.
  2. Stir in hot sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
  4. If using, fold in chopped cilantro for added freshness.
  5. Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.
