1 lb white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
8 small corn or flour tortillas
2 cups shredded cabbage or slaw mix
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 avocado, sliced
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon lime zest
1 small garlic clove, minced
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Rub the fish with olive oil and coat with the seasoning mix.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the fish for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through and flaky.
In another bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, lime zest, and minced garlic to make the lime crema.
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
Assemble the tacos by adding fish, slaw, avocado, and cilantro to each tortilla.
Drizzle with lime crema and serve immediately.
Notes
You can use any white, flaky fish for this recipe.
For a healthier version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and mayo.
