10 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
1 ounce fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
2 ounces white rum
Ice cubes
Club soda, to top
Watermelon wedges and lime slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a shaker or sturdy glass, muddle the watermelon cubes, mint leaves, and sugar (if using) until well broken down and fragrant.
Add lime juice and rum to the shaker and stir to combine.
Fill a glass with ice and strain the mixture into the glass.
Top with club soda and gently stir.
Garnish with extra mint, a wedge of watermelon, and a lime slice. Serve immediately.
