2 cups fresh figs, chopped
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 medium orange, peeled and chopped
2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
3 cups granulated sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 packet fruit pectin (1.75 oz)
Instructions
In a large pot, combine figs, raspberries, orange, and ginger over medium heat.
Stir in lemon juice and pectin, bringing the mixture to a rolling boil.
Add the sugar all at once, stirring constantly until fully dissolved.
Return to a full boil and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Remove from heat and skim off any foam.
Ladle hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
Seal jars with lids and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before storing.
Notes
Use ripe figs for the best natural sweetness.
Adjust the amount of ginger based on your spice preference.
Store unopened jars in a cool, dark place; refrigerate after opening.
