- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4–5 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- Flip the fillets and cook for another 2–3 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Reduce heat to medium. Push salmon to one side and add butter to the pan.
- Once butter is melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and spoon the garlic butter over the salmon.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

- Use skin-on salmon for a crispier texture and easier handling.
