Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with olive oil.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Stir in remaining butter and lemon juice, cook for another 1 minute until sauce is slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Don’t overcook the shrimp—remove from heat as soon as they turn pink.
- Serve with pasta, rice, or a fresh green salad.
- Add white wine for extra depth of flavor (reduce lemon juice slightly).
