Ingredients
Scale
1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
1 tbsp flour (for sauce)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp ground black pepper (for sauce)
Instructions
Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Work in batches if needed. Remove steak and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet, and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Return steak to skillet and toss in garlic butter for another minute. Remove from heat and set aside covered.
In a separate small saucepan, melt 1 tbsp butter and whisk in flour. Cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in heavy cream and cook until slightly thickened, about 3–4 minutes.
Add Parmesan cheese and black pepper, stirring until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
Serve steak bites with Parmesan sauce drizzled over or on the side. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra richness, use a mix of butter and ghee when searing the steak.
Don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking the steak to ensure proper browning.
Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
