Buttery, garlicky Ritz cracker bites with cheesy, savory flavor—quick and irresistible snack perfect for parties or everyday munching.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (about 3036 crackers) Ritz or Ritz Bits
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil (optional for extra richness)
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced (or 2 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
  • ¼ tsp dried parsley
  • ¼ tsp salt, or to taste
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 °F (150 °C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place crackers in a large bowl.
  3. In a small saucepan or bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil (if using), minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, parsley, and salt; warm briefly until fragrant.
  4. Pour garlic butter mixture over crackers; toss gently to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over crackers and toss again.
  6. Spread crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes, until golden and crispy—watch closely to avoid burning.
  8. Remove from oven, cool slightly, then garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use Ritz Bits (cheese-filled) for extra cheesy flavor.
  • Fresh garlic gives the best flavor, but garlic powder works too.
  • Don’t overbake—the crackers should be golden, not dark.
  • Store cooled crackers in an airtight container up to 3 days; re-crisp in oven if needed.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat, or ranch seasoning for a flavor twist.
