Garlic Tzatziki Sauce is a creamy, tangy Greek condiment made with yogurt, cucumber, garlic, and herbs. It’s perfect as a dip, spread, or topping for grilled meats and vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried dill)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture using a cheesecloth or paper towel.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and dill.
  3. Stir until well mixed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a richer texture.
  • Add more garlic if you prefer a stronger flavor.
  • Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
