Gorgonzola Stuffed Burgers are juicy beef patties stuffed with creamy, tangy Gorgonzola cheese for a gourmet twist on a backyard classic — rich, flavorful, and easy to grill.

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles
  • Optional condiments: mayonnaise, mustard, or aioli

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, gently mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Divide into 8 equal portions and flatten into thin patties.
  3. Place about 1 tablespoon of Gorgonzola cheese in the center of 4 patties. Top each with another patty and pinch edges together to seal well.
  4. Grill burgers for 4–5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness and cheese is melted inside.
  5. Toast buns if desired, then assemble burgers with your favorite toppings and condiments.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Chill patties for 15 minutes before grilling to help them hold their shape.
  • Try mixing herbs into the beef or cheese for extra flavor.
