Tender grilled chicken breasts seasoned to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and perfect for a healthy meal or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 600 g total)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried thyme (or oregano)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Option: fresh lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.
  4. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (about 190–200 °C or 375–400 °F).
  5. Once hot, place the chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for about 6–7 minutes on the first side, without moving them.
  6. Flip the breasts and grill for another 5–6 minutes, until they reach an internal temperature of 75 °C (165 °F).
  7. Remove from heat, transfer to a plate, and let rest for 5 minutes to lock in juices.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges, fresh herbs, or your favorite side dishes (salad, grilled veggies, rice).

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure perfect doneness without drying out.
  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes (or up to overnight) before grilling.
  • Adjust seasonings: try cumin, chili powder, or fresh herbs like rosemary or basil.
  • Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3–4 days and freeze beautifully for meal prep.
