These Grilled Chicken Tenders are quick, easy, and full of flavor. Marinated in a simple mix of oil, vinegar, and seasonings, they cook up tender and juicy every time. Perfect for a light lunch, kid-friendly dinner, or meal prep!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenderloins (or sliced boneless chicken breasts)

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Optional: 1/2 tsp smoked paprika or chili flakes for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Make the marinade:
In a bowl or zip-top bag, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and any optional spices.

  2. Marinate the chicken:
Add chicken tenders to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours for more flavor).

  3. Preheat the grill:
Heat grill to medium-high and lightly oil the grates.

  4. Grill the tenders:
Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 3–4 minutes per side, or until nicely browned and cooked through (internal temp of 165°F).

  5. Serve:
Let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving. Great with dips, on salads, or in wraps!

Notes

  • Also great cooked on a grill pan or under the broiler.

  • Try different marinades like honey mustard, teriyaki, or lemon herb for variety.

  • Meal-prep friendly: Cook extra and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
