Grilled Nectarines with Burrata and Honey is a stunning dish that’s as easy as it is impressive. Juicy, caramelized nectarines are grilled and paired with creamy burrata, drizzled with honey, and finished with a sprinkle of flaky salt and fresh herbs. Perfect for summer gatherings or anytime you want something sweet, savory, and fresh.
4 ripe nectarines, halved and pitted
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 balls burrata cheese (about 4 oz each)
2 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
Flaky sea salt, to taste
Freshly cracked black pepper (optional)
Fresh basil or mint leaves, for garnish
Optional: crushed pistachios or toasted walnuts for crunch
Optional: balsamic glaze for drizzling
Preheat grill: Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Lightly brush cut sides of nectarines with olive oil.
Grill the nectarines: Place nectarines cut side down on the grill. Cook for 3–4 minutes until grill marks appear and fruit is slightly softened.
Plate it up: Place grilled nectarines on a serving platter. Tear the burrata and arrange over or beside the nectarines.
Finish and serve: Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with flaky salt, and add herbs, black pepper, and optional nuts or balsamic glaze. Serve immediately while warm.
You can also use peaches or plums if nectarines aren’t available.
Serve with crusty bread or as a side to grilled chicken or prosciutto.
Best served warm, but leftovers can be stored chilled and enjoyed cold.
