This no-bake fudge features a creamy white chocolate base dyed Grinch-green, with a festive red heart candy on top. It’s a whimsical and sweet treat that’s perfect for your holiday dessert spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups (525 g) white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup (56 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Green gel food coloring
  • Red heart-shaped candies (or small red sprinkles)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan:
    • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. Melt the fudge base:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
  3. Add color and flavor:
    • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Add green gel food coloring, a little at a time, until you achieve the desired Grinch-green color.
  4. Pour and set:
    • Pour the green fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula. While the fudge is still soft, press the red heart candies gently into the top, spacing them evenly.
  5. Chill:
    • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
  6. Slice and serve:
    • Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Heart candies: If you can’t find red heart candies, use small red sprinkles or pipe a red heart onto the fudge with royal icing.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Flavor variations: Add a few drops of peppermint extract for a minty twist, or sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
