Ingredients
Scale
3 cups (525 g) white chocolate chips
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup (56 g) unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Green gel food coloring
Red heart-shaped candies (or small red sprinkles)
Instructions
Prepare the pan:
Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides for easy removal.
Melt the fudge base:
In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
Add color and flavor:
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Add green gel food coloring, a little at a time, until you achieve the desired Grinch-green color.
Pour and set:
Pour the green fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula. While the fudge is still soft, press the red heart candies gently into the top, spacing them evenly.
Chill:
Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
Slice and serve:
Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper. Slice into squares and serve.
Notes
Heart candies: If you can’t find red heart candies, use small red sprinkles or pipe a red heart onto the fudge with royal icing.
Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.
Flavor variations: Add a few drops of peppermint extract for a minty twist, or sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
