Ground Turkey and Peppers Stir-Fry is a quick, healthy, and flavorful dish made with lean turkey, colorful bell peppers, and a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the sliced bell peppers and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  5. Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes; stir to coat everything evenly.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through and well combined.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Serve over rice, quinoa, or noodles for a complete meal.
  • Substitute ground chicken or beef if preferred.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
