Halloween Pizza Skulls are spooky, fun, and delicious hand-held pizzas baked in a skull-shaped mold, perfect for parties or a festive dinner. Filled with cheese, sauce, and your favorite toppings, they’re a hit with kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni or cooked sausage
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for greasing mold)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a skull-shaped baking mold with olive oil.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into pieces large enough to fit into each skull cavity with some overhang.
  3. Press dough into each cavity, shaping to the mold and leaving excess dough to fold over the top later.
  4. Spoon a little pizza sauce into the bottom of each dough-lined cavity.
  5. Add a layer of cheese and your choice of mini pepperoni or sausage.
  6. Top with more cheese if desired.
  7. Fold the overhanging dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before carefully removing from the mold.
  10. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Use silicone or nonstick skull molds for best results.
  • Let the skulls rest for 5 minutes before removing to prevent breaking.
  • Customize with veggies or other meats to suit your taste.
  • Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven.
