These Heart OREO Balls are a no-bake treat made with crushed OREO cookies and cream cheese, coated in smooth chocolate. Their cute heart shape makes them perfect for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or as a fun edible gift!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.3 oz) package OREO cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz (340g) semi-sweet or white chocolate, melted
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • Pink, red, or white sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

1. Make the OREO Mixture

  1. Place OREO cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. (No need to remove the filling!)
  2. Add softened cream cheese and blend until a smooth dough forms.

2. Shape into Hearts

  1. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the OREO mixture and roll into a ball.
  2. Flatten slightly, then shape into a heart using your fingers or a small heart-shaped cookie cutter.
  3. Place the hearts on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 20-30 minutes to firm up.

3. Melt the Chocolate

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate and coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

4. Dip and Decorate

  1. Using a fork or dipping tool, coat each heart in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  2. Place back onto parchment paper and immediately top with sprinkles if desired.
  3. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes until firm.

5. Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Once fully set, serve your heart-shaped OREO balls and enjoy!
