This Heavenly Caramel Apple Fudge combines the tartness of apples with the rich sweetness of caramel in a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth treat. Perfect for fall gatherings, holiday desserts, or as a gift for friends and family.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Fudge:

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ tsp apple pie spice
  • ½ cup dried apples, finely chopped

For the Caramel Swirl:

  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ tsp sea salt (optional, for salted caramel)

Instructions

Prepare the Fudge Base:

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and apple pie spice. Fold in the chopped dried apples.

Add the Caramel Swirl:

  1. Pour half of the fudge mixture into the prepared dish and spread it evenly.
  2. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the fudge and use a knife or skewer to gently swirl it.
  3. Pour the remaining fudge mixture on top and smooth it out. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top and swirl again. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.

Chill and Set:

  1. Refrigerate the fudge for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.

Serve:

  1. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
  • Make it nutty: Add ½ cup of chopped pecans or walnuts for extra texture.
  • Variation: Use cinnamon chips instead of white chocolate for a spicier flavor.
