Ingredients

Scale

Serves 8-10

  • For the punch:
    • 4 cups (960 ml) pineapple juice, chilled
    • 4 cups (960 ml) orange juice, chilled
    • 1 liter (33.8 oz) lemon-lime soda, chilled
    • 2 cups (480 ml) purple grape juice or cranberry juice, chilled
  • For the spooky effect:
    • Dry ice (optional, for a fog effect; handle with care)
    • Green or purple food coloring (optional, to enhance color)
  • For garnish:
    • Plastic spiders or eyeballs (for decoration only, not edible)
    • Orange slices
    • Blackberries
    • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Prepare the punch:
    • In a large punch bowl, combine pineapple juice, orange juice, and lemon-lime soda. Stir gently to mix.
    • Add purple grape juice or cranberry juice. Adjust the color with food coloring if desired.
  • Create the spooky effect:
    • For a foggy punch, place a few pieces of dry ice in the punch bowl (ensure no one consumes the dry ice directly). The dry ice will create a misty, magical effect.
  • Add garnishes:
    • Float orange slices, blackberries, or edible eyeballs in the punch. Add ice cubes to keep the drink chilled.
  • Serve:
    • Ladle the punch into glasses. Decorate each glass with a spooky plastic spider or garnish with extra fruit.

Notes

  • Dry Ice Safety: Dry ice must not be ingested. Use tongs to handle and wait until it completely dissipates before serving directly from the bowl.
  • For an adult version, add 1 cup (240 ml) of vodka, rum, or orange liqueur.
  • For a sugar-rimmed effect, dip the rims of the glasses in lemon juice, then in black or green sanding sugar.
