  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with cooking spray.

2. Prepare the salmon marinade

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, honey, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin (if using), salt, and pepper.

3. Arrange the salmon

  1. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  2. Brush or spoon the honey-lime garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon, ensuring it is well coated.

4. Bake the salmon

  1. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Optional: For a caramelized finish, broil the salmon for an additional 2–3 minutes at the end of baking.

5. Serve

  1. Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with lime slices and chopped parsley or cilantro.
  2. Serve warm with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, steamed rice, or a fresh salad.
