Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
4 buttermilk biscuits, split
1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp hot sauce
1 tbsp butter
Instructions
Marinate chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
In a shallow bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F (177°C).
Dredge chicken in the seasoned flour, pressing to coat well.
Fry chicken thighs for 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat honey, hot sauce, and butter until melted and combined to create the hot honey sauce.
Assemble biscuits by placing a fried chicken thigh inside each split biscuit.
Drizzle hot honey generously over the chicken before serving.
Notes
Use store-bought or homemade biscuits depending on your preference.
Adjust the amount of hot sauce for a milder or spicier honey drizzle.
Serve immediately for the crispiest chicken and fluffiest biscuits.
