These Jalapeño Popper Crescent Rolls are the ultimate appetizer or snack! Creamy, cheesy, and a little spicy, they’re wrapped in flaky crescent dough for a quick and delicious bite. Perfect for game day or a party!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg, beaten (optional, for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, bacon (if using), and garlic powder until well combined.
  3. Assemble the Crescent Rolls:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
    • Place about 1–2 teaspoons of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
    • Roll up the crescent rolls, starting at the wide end and tucking the edges slightly to seal the filling.
  4. Optional Egg Wash:
    • Brush the tops of the rolls with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  5. Bake:
    • Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
    • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
    • Sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra spice, leave the seeds in the jalapeños or add a dash of cayenne pepper to the filling.
  • You can substitute the crescent roll dough with puff pastry for a flakier texture.
  • These are best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes.
