July Chocolate Covered Strawberries are a festive red, white, and blue treat perfect for Independence Day. These sweet and patriotic berries are dipped in white chocolate and decorated with colorful sprinkles for an easy no-bake dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, rinsed and dried
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted white chocolate, covering about 3/4 of the berry.
  4. Immediately dip the tip of the berry into a bowl of red, white, and blue sprinkles or sprinkle them over the chocolate while it’s still wet.
  5. Place dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
  7. Serve chilled or store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to ensure the chocolate adheres properly.
  • Use candy melts for easier and more consistent results compared to chocolate chips.
  • Decorate with colored sugar or edible glitter for extra sparkle.
