Ingredients

  • 1 (0.16 oz) packet Kool-Aid drink mix (any flavor – cherry, blue raspberry, grape, etc.)
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 2 tbsp honey or corn syrup (for added chewiness, optional)
  • 3 tbsp unflavored gelatin (about 3 packets, for a firm texture)

Instructions

Step 1: Mix the Ingredients

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together cold water, Kool-Aid mix, and gelatin until dissolved.
  2. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the gelatin to bloom (it will thicken).

Step 2: Melt the Mixture

  1. Heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is completely smooth (about 2-3 minutes).
  2. Do not boil—just heat until everything is fully dissolved.

Step 3: Pour Into Molds

  1. Using a dropper or spoon, carefully pour the mixture into gummy molds (or a lightly greased baking dish).
  2. Tap the mold gently to remove air bubbles.

Step 4: Set & Chill

  1. Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes, or until the gummies are firm.
  2. If using a baking dish, cut into small squares or shapes with a knife or cookie cutter.

Step 5: Remove & Enjoy

  1. Pop the gummies out of the molds and enjoy!
  2. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

  • With a Sour Kick: Toss gummies in sour sugar (1 tbsp citric acid + ¼ cup sugar) for extra tang!
