Lemon Trifle is a refreshing and layered dessert made with lemon curd, whipped cream, and cake or ladyfingers—perfectly tangy, sweet, and ideal for spring and summer gatherings.

  • 1 prepared pound cake or 1 package ladyfingers, cut into cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups lemon curd
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest (optional)
  • Fresh berries or mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a trifle dish or individual cups, layer cake pieces at the bottom.
  3. Spoon a layer of lemon curd over the cake.
  4. Add a layer of whipped cream and spread evenly.
  5. Repeat layers until the dish is full, ending with whipped cream on top.
  6. Garnish with lemon zest, fresh berries, or mint leaves if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
