A classic and flavorful meatloaf recipe made easy with Lipton Onion Soup Mix. Moist, hearty, and perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 3/4 cup plain dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping if desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, water, and ketchup. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish or loaf pan.
  4. If desired, spread additional ketchup on top of the loaf.
  5. Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Add chopped vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition.
  • Leftovers make excellent meatloaf sandwiches.
