These Lucky Charms Chocolate Cookies are rich, fudgy, and loaded with colorful marshmallows from Lucky Charms cereal. They’re perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, parties, or whenever you need a little extra magic in your cookies!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Lucky Charms marshmallows (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the Wet Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy (about 2 minutes).
    • Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Mix the Dry Ingredients:

    • In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
    • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Fold in the Goodies:

    • Stir in chocolate chips and Lucky Charms marshmallows.
  5. Scoop & Bake:

    • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
    • Bake for 9-11 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers are soft.
  6. Add Extra Magic:

    • Immediately after baking, press a few extra Lucky Charms marshmallows on top of each cookie.
  7. Cool & Enjoy:

    • Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Want an extra gooey cookie? Slightly underbake and let them set as they cool.
  • Make them even more festive by drizzling with white chocolate or dusting with gold sprinkles!
