Ingredients
Scale
12 round biscuits or cookies (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp milk (for icing)
12 large marshmallows
Orange and black gel icing pens (for snowman faces)
Assorted candies (mini M&Ms, sprinkles, or licorice for buttons and scarves)
Instructions
Prepare the Icing:
In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Add more milk, a few drops at a time, until the icing reaches a thick but pourable consistency.
Create the Melting Effect:
Place the biscuits on a lined baking sheet or tray. Spoon the icing onto each biscuit, letting it drip slightly over the edges to create a “melting” look.
Add Marshmallow Heads:
Microwave the marshmallows for 5-8 seconds to soften slightly (optional). Place one marshmallow on the top half of each iced biscuit to form the snowman’s head.
Decorate the Snowmen:
Use the black icing pen to draw eyes, a mouth, and stick arms on the icing.
Use the orange icing pen to add a carrot nose to each marshmallow.
Attach mini candies or sprinkles to the icing as buttons or scarf details before it sets.
Set and Serve:
Allow the biscuits to sit for 20-30 minutes until the icing hardens. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
You can use royal icing instead of powdered sugar icing for a firmer set.
Get creative with decorations—add hats or different scarf designs for extra fun.
