These adorable Melted Snowman Brownies are a fun and festive treat! They’re easy to make and perfect for winter celebrations, combining fudgy brownies with whimsical snowman decorations.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Brownies (or use store-bought):

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

For the Decorations:

  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp milk (for icing)
  • Black gel icing (for eyes and arms)
  • Orange gel icing (for noses)
  • Mini candies or sprinkles (for buttons)

Instructions

Make the Brownies:

  1. Preheat and Prepare:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the Batter:
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
    • Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until combined.
  3. Bake:
    • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into squares.

Decorate the Brownies:

  1. Prepare the Icing:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to create a thick, pourable icing. Add more milk as needed, a few drops at a time.
  2. Assemble the Snowmen:
    • Cut the cooled brownies into squares. Spoon the icing over each brownie, letting it drip down the sides to mimic “melting snow.”
    • Place a marshmallow on top of each brownie to serve as the snowman’s head.
  3. Add Details:
    • Use black gel icing to draw eyes, a mouth, and stick arms on the marshmallow and icing.
    • Use orange gel icing to draw a carrot nose.
    • Add mini candies or sprinkles on the icing as buttons.
  4. Set and Serve:
    • Allow the icing to set for 15-20 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Use store-bought brownie mix for an even quicker version.
  • For extra fun, use coconut flakes on the icing for a snowy effect!
