Luxuriously creamy peach jello salad with peaches, cottage & cream cheese, whipped topping, marshmallows, and pecans—a sweet, nostalgic dessert-salad perfect for potlucks.

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (12 oz) Cool Whip or whipped topping
  • 1 (3 oz) package peach (or orange) Jell-O
  • 2 (14 oz) cans sliced peaches, drained and chopped (reserve 2 Tbsp syrup)
  • 1 (8 oz) container small-curd cottage cheese
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup chopped pecans, plus extra for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Fold in whipped topping, dry jello mix, chopped peaches, reserved syrup, cottage cheese, and mini marshmallows until well combined.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours (or overnight) to let flavors meld.
  4. Before serving, gently stir in chopped pecans, reserving a few to sprinkle on top.

  • The cottage cheese adds tangy balance to sweet flavors—skip if not preferred, but recommended.
  • For best texture, drain peaches well and add reserved syrup for extra peach flavor.
  • Mix pecans right before serving to retain crunch.
