These Mint Oreo Balls are made with crushed Mint Oreos, cream cheese, and a rich chocolate coating. They’re no-bake, super easy to make, and perfect for parties, gifts, or a fun dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (15.25 oz) Mint Oreo cookies (about 36 Oreos)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz semi-sweet or white chocolate chips (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • Green sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or melted white chocolate (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Oreo Mixture

  1. Crush the Oreos:

    • In a food processor, blend the Mint Oreos until they become fine crumbs.
    • Reserve 2 tablespoons of crumbs for garnish (optional).
  2. Mix with Cream Cheese:

    • In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until fully combined.
    • The mixture should be thick and sticky.
  3. Roll into Balls:

    • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll into bite-sized balls.
    • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 20-30 minutes to firm up.

Step 2: Coat with Chocolate

  1. Melt the Chocolate:

    • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip the Oreo Balls:

    • Using a fork or toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
    • Place back onto the parchment-lined sheet.
  3. Garnish:

    • Sprinkle with crushed Oreos, green sprinkles, or drizzle with melted white chocolate before the coating sets.

Step 3: Chill & Serve

  1. Set the Chocolate:

    • Refrigerate for 30 minutes until the chocolate is firm.
  2. Enjoy!

    • Serve chilled and enjoy your minty, chocolatey bites!

Notes

  • Want a stronger mint flavor? Add ½ teaspoon peppermint extract to the Oreo mixture.
  • Prefer a white chocolate coating? Use melted white chocolate chips instead.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
