These sweet and chewy treats combine coconut, graham crumbs, and condensed milk, coated in chocolate or powdered sugar. They’re easy to make, no-bake, and perfect for sharing during festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (150g) shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup (100g) graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup (120ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for coating)
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Combine the Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded coconut, graham cracker crumbs, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until it forms a sticky dough-like consistency.
  2. Shape into Balls:
    • Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, shape the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Chill:
    • Refrigerate the balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Optional Coating:
    • Chocolate Coating: Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Dip the chilled balls into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, and place them back on the parchment paper. Let the chocolate set.
    • Powdered Sugar Coating: Roll the chilled balls in powdered sugar for a simple finish.
  5. Serve:
    • Store Moose Farts in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • You can customize the recipe by adding chopped nuts, dried fruits, or a splash of rum for an adult version.
  • For a festive touch, sprinkle with holiday-themed sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
