This No-Bake Edible Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough is a safe-to-eat, egg-free treat that’s full of warm cinnamon-sugar flavor! It’s soft, creamy, and perfect for snacking by the spoonful. You can roll it into bite-sized balls, mix it into ice cream, or just enjoy it straight from the bowl!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated, see instructions)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (or heavy cream)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt

Cinnamon-Sugar Topping (Optional):

  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

Heat-Treat the Flour (Important for Safety!):

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the flour on a baking sheet in an even layer.
  2. Bake for 5–7 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the flour reaches 165°F. Let it cool completely before using.

Make the Cookie Dough:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Add the cooled, heat-treated flour, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until smooth.

Serve & Enjoy:

  1. If using, mix the extra sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the dough.
  2. Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate for a firmer texture!
