1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups (150 g) sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup (100 g) chopped pecans
Instructions
Prepare the mixture:
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the brown sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until combined.
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes while stirring constantly.
Combine with coconut and pecans:
Remove the saucepan from the heat and fold in the shredded coconut and chopped pecans until well coated.
Shape the cookies:
