- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup Nutella
- Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Mix in the Nutella until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Using a cookie scoop, drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are set but centers look slightly underbaked.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes if you want thicker cookies.
- Drizzle extra Nutella on top for more indulgence.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
